Import/Export Coordinator & Customer Service Administrator

Summary of Role:

Full-time. Immediate availability.  Coordinate imports mostly from Europe to US, Canada, and Mexico. Perform clerical duties of an administrative nature in areas of customer service, spare parts for heavy machinery equipment order processing, and fiscal record keeping; and perform related duties as required.

Your principal responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day Import/Export shipments, regulatory compliance and coordinating accurate and timely documents with US Customs
  • Maintain proper HTS codes, Schedule B codes, valuation and country of origin, entry and export procedures
  • Work with Suppliers importing goods into the USA, Canada, and Mexico to ensure correctness of import documents and the appropriate transportation method
  • Interface with Customs Broker to ensure correctness of US Customs and ISF filings and release documents
  • Working on customer’s request for spare parts, quote price and delivery time
  • Obtain part orders from customers by phone, fax, or email
  • Process orders from:
    a) inventory on hand
    b) inventory of parent company in Germany
    c) request parts ordered by purchasing
  • Process sales order acknowledgements to customer with accurate pricing and delivery time
  • Together with service technicians or service manager assist customers with parts identification
  • Prepare packing list and shipping documents and UPS/FedEx labels
  • Invoice parts sales after shipping, record correct shipping rates according to the sales terms

Job requirements / Qualifications for the position:

  • Basic knowledge of global trade, sea- and airfreight related subjects
  • Few years of increasingly responsible customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of MRP software; advantageous in Exact MAX and/or SAP
  • Office and record-keeping practices and procedures; the use of office machines; rules of English grammar and composition, MS-Word and Excel.
  • Perform assigned duties with a minimum of supervision; follow written and oral instructions and interpret them to others; compose letters, reports and other written material independently or as instructed
  • Advantageous to have some basic technical understanding
  • Second language German and/or Spanish advantageous

Electrical Service Technician/Engineer

We are in need of a electrical field service technician/engineer. The position should be filled within the next 2-3 months.

Full-time. Immediate availability.  Servicing wire drawing machinery in the North American Market.

Requirements for the electrical technician are:

  • Experience in industrial automation, Siemens S7 and Rockwell (Allen Bradley) CompactLogix PLC.
  • AC & DC drives technology, servo technology.
  • Good communication skills in English. Spanish and/or German a plus.
  • Basic computer skills in Windows and Office.
  • Interest to travel 70% of the time within US, Canada, and Mexico, occasionally overseas.

Mechanical Service Technician/Engineer

We are in need of a mechanical/process field service technician/engineer. The position should be filled within the next 2-3 months.

Summary of Role:

Full-time. Immediate availability.  Servicing wire drawing machinery in the North American Market.

Requirements for the mechanical technician are:·

  • Good understanding of standard machine components like gears, bearings, pumps, basic hydraulics and compressed air controls.
  • Basic computer skills in Windows and Office.
  • Good communication skills in English. Spanish and/or German a plus.
  • Basic metal deforming knowledge, non-ferrous wire drawing a big plus.
  • Interest to travel 70% of the time within US, Canada, and Mexico, occasionally overseas.
